Payment options

Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. For surgery or hospitalized patients, a deposit of 50% of the high end of the treatment plan will be required. Payment in full is due upon hospital release.

We accept major credit and debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. We also accept cash and checks.

Pet insurance is a viable option for many pet owners, helping them pay the cost of unexpected veterinary care. There are a variety of pet insurance companies and plans, so feel free to contact us today if you need any guidance. The younger a pet is signed up for insurance, the better. Please keep in mind that most pet insurance policies do not cover pre-existing conditions.

Another payment option is CareCredit , a healthcare credit card that allows your pet to get veterinary care when they need it. Instead of paying the entire cost of care at once, CareCredit allows you to pay off your balance in monthly installments without accruing interest*.
*There are several lengths of time available, and are decided through the CareCredit company at the time of sign up.

If you have any questions or concerns about our payment policy or your options, please don’t hesitate to contact us today. We would be happy to speak with you and welcome your call.

Late/No Show Policy

Due to increased demands and inconvenience caused by no-shows, late shows and cancellations, we are implementing a No-Show and Late Cancellation Policy.

There has been an increase of demand from the community for veterinary care. Our goal is to provide quality individualized medical care in a timely manner. No-shows, late shows, and cancellations inconvenience those clients and their pets who are in need of veterinary care. We are having to implement a “No-Show” and Late Cancellation Policy due to these overwhelming occurrences.

Cancellation of an appointment : In order to be respectful of the medical needs of other pets, please be courteous and call our office promptly if you are unable to show up for any appointment. This time will be reallocated to a pet who is in need of treatment. If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we require that you call at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will allow another patient to receive timely veterinary care.

If you don’t reach a receptionist, you may leave a detailed message on our voicemail. If you would like to reschedule your appointment, please leave your name and phone number. We will return your call as soon as we are available.

Late Cancellations : A cancellation is considered to be late when the appointment is canceled without a 24-hour advance notice.

Appointment “No Show” Policy : A “no-show” is a client who misses an appointment without canceling it. A failure to be present at the time of a scheduled appointment will be recorded in the client’s chart as a “no-show”. This includes arriving 10 minutes after the start of your scheduled appointment. If you arrive late to your appointment the receptionist will see if we are still able to see your pet that day. We will do our best to create time for your pet to be seen, but there may be a waiting period based on the other appointments that day. If you do not wish to wait, or we are not able to accommodate due to emergencies, etc., we will ask you to reschedule your appointment. Be mindful that our appointments are scheduled right after one another and because of this the doctor may not have time to give your pet the full exam and care it needs before the next appointment arrives. We do this so we can give you and your pet the time and attention that is expected.

The first 2 times of a “no-show” or late cancellation, there will be a warning issued to the client. At the time of the 3rd “no-show” or late cancellation, we require prepayment for the office visit for any future appointments. This amount will be credited towards that appointment, otherwise it is non-refundable if you “no-show” for that appointment.

Surgery Appointment No Show Policy : If you are needing to cancel your pet’s anesthetic/surgical procedure it is required to cancel/reschedule your appointment within 24 hours’ notice of your appointment time.
A surgery “no-show” is a client who missed a surgery appointment without providing a 24-hour notice of cancellation.

The first time this occurs we will work with you to reschedule the appointment. A 2nd occurrence will result in you being charged a missed appointment fee of $100 AND you will be required to pay a $100 fee before being able to schedule future anesthetic/surgical procedures. If this occurs, the missed appointment fee will be deducted from your total as long as you keep that appointment, otherwise it is non-refundable if you “no-show” your appointment. If there is a 3rd occurrence, you will be discharged from the practice.

Thank you for all your dedication and support during these challenging times. We appreciate your understanding about this new policy! Please reach out with any questions.
